Alejandra Vicencio is a distinguished international higher education leader and consultant with over 20 years of expertise in global partnerships, institutional development, and internationalisation strategies. She has advised universities, governments, and sector bodies worldwide, strengthening leadership capacity and advancing transformative approaches to global engagement. As Chief Executive Officer of Alvis Pathway, Alejandra provides strategic vision and leadership for the organisation’s growth and development. She is recognised for her collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, aligning institutional priorities with innovative, customer-focused strategies that deliver measurable impact. Her leadership reflects the values of Alvis integrity, partnership, and responsiveness while fostering a culture of innovation and shared success.

Peter Rehor

Peter Rehor, Ph. D., is a results-driven, compassionate, and values-oriented Professor and Academic Leader with extensive experience in post-secondary credential development and approval process, curriculum design, strategic planning, and program delivery across domestic and international campuses with thousands of students.
With a solid foundation of 12-year post-secondary academic preparation, Dr. Rehor has made a global impact, designing and implementing innovative and significant undergraduate and graduate programs in Canada, the US, Australia, and the Czech Republic.
Raised under the communist regime of oppression, Dr. Rehor’s devotion to academia and his students stems from his belief in the power of education in achieving social and personal freedom.

Edna Alvarez

Edna is an experienced academic leader with over 10 years in the fields of education and linguistics. She specializes in the study of language and curriculum development. She holds a Ph.D. in Education, a Master’s in Linguistic Anthropology, and a Bachelor’s in English Literature. As Academic Manager, she oversees the development and implementation of academic programs that promote instructional quality.

Mila Datsenko

Mila has nearly two years of experience in education and over seven years in supporting executive teams. As an Executive Assistant at Alvis Pathway, she ensures efficient operations and effective communication across the organization. She is committed to helping the organization achieve its goals and is proud to contribute to a mission that opens global opportunities for students.

Alejandra Vicencio is the Chief Executive Officer of Alvis Pathway, where she leads the organisation’s global strategy, growth, and institutional development. With over 20 years of experience in international higher education, Alejandra brings deep expertise in global partnerships, internationalisation, and sector innovation to advance Alvis Pathway’s mission worldwide.

Alejandra has worked extensively with universities, governments, and education bodies across regions, providing strategic advisory on leadership development and cross-border collaboration. Her work focuses on aligning institutional priorities with dynamic, learner-centred strategies that strengthen engagement and expand global access.

Known for her collaborative and solutions-driven leadership, Alejandra fosters a culture of innovation, inclusion, and measurable impact. She is committed to the core values of Alvis – integrity, partnership, and responsiveness – and to empowering students, educators, and institutions through transformative international education.

Sam Fenwick

Director, Academic & Quality Assurance

Sam Fenwick is the Director, Academic & Quality Assurance at Alvis Pathway, where he oversees academic strategy, curriculum development, and quality assurance across international programmes. With over 25 years of experience in educational leadership, English Language Teaching (ELT), and teacher training, Sam brings a depth of expertise in academic operations and regulatory alignment. He holds an MEd in Educational Leadership and Management from Newcastle University, along with CELTA and DELTA qualifications. His career spans roles as a teacher, programme director, CELTA trainer, and DELTA tutor, with a strong focus on University Foundation programmes in the Middle East.

Sam spent a decade with the British Council, working across Bahrain, Tunisia, the UAE, and Japan in teaching, teacher training, academic quality assurance, and corporate education. He later held senior leadership roles in higher education institutions and training organisations in Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the UK, specialising in curriculum design, institutional partnerships, and compliance frameworks. As a Subject Matter Expert for BAE Systems, he consulted with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defence to redesign military English language training, QA systems, and curriculum frameworks across four armed forces.

Having lived and worked in over eight countries, Sam speaks English, French, Romanian, and conversational Arabic. He is passionate about designing impactful learning experiences grounded in strong academic systems and continuous improvement. His leadership at Alvis Pathway reflects a commitment to academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and student success. Outside of work, Sam enjoys walking, painting, writing poetry, and closely follows the performance of Newcastle United Football Club.

Saffi Malik

Chief Financial Officer

Saffi Malik is the Chief Financial Officer at Alvis Pathway, where he provides strategic financial leadership to support the organisation’s growth, sustainability, and long-term planning. With over a decade of international experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management, Saffi brings deep expertise in financial governance and operational efficiency across global contexts.

He is a dual-qualified finance professional, holding credentials as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), along with a Master’s in Accounting and Finance. His background includes leading multi-entity consolidations, cross-border audits, tax planning, and regulatory compliance for complex international structures.

At Alvis Pathway, Saffi plays a central role in strengthening financial systems, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring transparency and accountability across the organisation. His leadership reflects the values of Alvis Pathway – integrity, partnership, and innovation – while enabling scalable, mission-driven growth.

Hassan Agha

Regional Manager Operations - MENA

Hassan Agha is the Regional Manager Operations – MENA at Alvis Pathway, where he leads strategic partnerships and regional growth initiatives across the Middle East and North Africa. Drawing on extensive experience as an entrepreneur and advisor, Hassan brings a unique commercial perspective to the education sector, supporting Alvis Pathway’s mission to expand access to international learning across the region.

Hassan has built and led successful ventures across diverse industries throughout the UAE and wider Gulf region. He possesses a solid academic background, holding a Law degree and a Master’s in Political Science, equipping him with the analytical and regulatory insight needed to navigate complex environments and foster sustainable, cross-sector collaboration.

With a deep understanding of both regional and global business landscapes, Hassan works closely with institutional partners, government bodies, and industry stakeholders to align Alvis Pathway’s educational offerings with the evolving needs of students and employers. His leadership supports the development of scalable engagement strategies and regionally responsive programming.

Hassan is passionate about empowering learners through quality education and entrepreneurial thinking. He believes that meaningful transformation occurs where academic foundations, practical skills, and global opportunities intersect.

Lilit Ghazaryan

Global Partnership Manager

Lilit Ghazaryan is the Manager, Global Partnership at Alvis Pathway, where she supports the organisation’s international growth through strategic partnerships, institutional engagement, and cross-border collaboration. With over 10 years of experience in higher education, international cooperation, and project leadership, Lilit brings strong expertise in partnership development, stakeholder relations, and the advancement of globally oriented education initiatives.

Her professional background includes working with universities, international organisations, embassies, and donor-supported programmes across a range of educational and development contexts. She has contributed to the design and implementation of international projects, partnership frameworks, and outreach strategies aimed at strengthening institutional capacity, expanding access, and creating long-term value for learners and partners. Her experience spans internationalisation, external relations, project development, and engagement with diverse academic and professional stakeholders.  She is also actively engaged in international higher education networks and professional communities.

Lilit holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and is fluent in Armenian, English, Russian, and a bit Italian. She is passionate about building meaningful international partnerships that are both practical and impact-driven, and she brings to her work a strong intercultural perspective, strategic mindset, and commitment to collaborative growth. At Alvis Pathway, she is dedicated to supporting the organisation’s mission through responsive partnership building and sustainable international engagement.

Ahmad Ali

Progression Manager

Ahmad Ali is the Progression Manager at Alvis Pathway, where he oversees student transitions into higher education and supports institutional processes that ensure smooth academic progression. With over 18 years of international business experience and a strong background in global finance, he brings a structured, systems-focused approach to education operations.

For the past four years, Ahmad has worked in the overseas education sector in various capacities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how educational institutions operate—from academic planning and program delivery to registrar duties, student services, and administrative processes. This hands-on experience has equipped him to support students and partners with clarity and efficiency.

Before entering the education sector, Ahmad spent over 14 years in trade finance, managing complex financial instruments such as Letters of Credit, Trust Receipts, and Guarantees. He also led remote teams, trained new staff, and authored internal procedural manuals to enhance operational efficiency—skills he now applies to student services and institutional development at Alvis Pathway.

Ahmad is passionate about expanding access to quality education through well-designed systems, proactive support, and effective institutional collaboration. His work ensures that students have clear, well-supported pathways from foundation programs into university degrees

 

Summyia Tabassum

Regional Manager Recruitment and Admissions (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan)

Summyia Tabassum is the Regional Manager – Recruitment and Admissions (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan) at Alvis Pathway, where she leads student recruitment and market development across South Asia. She brings extensive experience in international student recruitment, key account management, counselling, and training across major study destinations including the USA, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

She has successfully expanded market reach and achieved enrolment targets through data-driven recruitment strategies and strong agency partnerships, working closely with over 100 education agents. Summyia has represented partner institutions at international education fairs and delivered agent trainings and student seminars across the region.

Her professional background includes leadership roles at MSM (USA) and Solent University (UK), where she supported regional recruitment strategy, market analysis, and institutional visibility. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Central Women’s University and is a British Council Certified Educational Consultant. Summyia is passionate about supporting student success and building sustainable institutional partnerships.

Laraib Haider

Academic Support

Laraib Haider is part of the Academic Support team at Alvis Pathway, where she contributes to academic operations, policy development, and institutional coordination. Her work focuses on ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality across internal processes that support both students and partners.

Laraib holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Management from the University of Calgary. She brings practical experience from the higher education sector, having worked in Human Resources at the University of Calgary, where she developed a strong foundation in academic administration, stakeholder engagement, and policy-driven workflows.

At Alvis Pathway, Laraib supports the development and standardisation of academic documents, internal marketing content, and operational procedures. She is committed to enhancing institutional alignment and delivering a cohesive academic experience that reflects Alvis Pathway’s values and strategic goals.

Kanika Kapoor

IT & Technical Support

Kanika Kapoor is part of the IT and Technical Support team at Alvis Pathway, where she supports the integration of digital tools, technical systems, and operational technologies that enable high-quality academic delivery. With over eight years of experience across higher education and technology operations, she brings both technical depth and practical insight to her role.

Kanika holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and has worked for more than three years as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science, followed by five years as a Technical Coordinator. Her background allows her to effectively bridge the gap between academic environments and digital infrastructure, ensuring smooth technical operations that align with institutional goals.

She is recognised for her solutions-oriented approach and commitment to innovation, continuously adapting to new challenges and supporting the evolving needs of students and staff. Outside of her professional work, Kanika draws inspiration from nature, which nurtures her creativity and brings balance to her work.

Chen Li

Executive Assistant

Chen Li is the Executive Assistant at Alvis Pathway, where she supports institutional operations, student communication, and executive administration. Her role focuses on maintaining efficient workflows, coordinating daily administrative processes, and ensuring a professional experience for students, staff, and external partners.

Chen holds a Software Development Diploma from SAIT and a Bachelor of Arts in English. She brings experience in customer support, administrative coordination, and multilingual communication, which has helped her develop strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

At Alvis Pathway, Chen supports email correspondence, scheduling, follow-ups, documentation, and internal coordination across teams. She is committed to providing reliable executive and operational support while contributing to a collaborative, organised, and student-focused environment.
