NOVA builds university readiness into the student journey. Through Alvis Pathway, eligible students can complete the International Foundation Year (IFY) as part of their NOVA learning – supporting university admission in Canada and worldwide.
Perfect timing – no extra workload.
IFY is completed alongside NOVA programming and Alberta high-school graduation requirements, helping students and parents decide on undergraduate destinations at the right time. Because it is integrated into the Alberta curriculum and timetable for Grade 12, students do not need a separate “after-school” program or heavy additional study hours.
Through its partnership with Alvis Pathway – the Global Delivery Partner of NCUK – NOVA now offers the International Foundation Year (IFY) programme on campus. The International Foundation Year (IFY) is a university preparation pathway that combines subject learning with academic English and study skills – supporting students as they transition into undergraduate study.
At NOVA, IFY is offered through Alvis Pathway and is designed to help students progress efficiently and confidently toward university options in Canada and globally.
